Selecting suitable learning activities (KS2)

Its not what you do but how you do it that is important

Selecting activities that will promote learning and give opportunities to develop life skills such as working collaboratively or independently is a characteristic of good mathematics teaching. Learning happens when the child is involved with the work. In Mathematics teaching this involvement occurs wnen the teacher either uses an Investigational /problem solving approach or Whole Class Interactive teaching.
